Rolleston Envirotown Market
Rolleston Envirotown Market is a monthly market which is dedicated to selling local products like seasonal produce (also organic when available), plants and crafts made by local people.
This occurs on the second Sunday of every month from 10am – 1pm at Rolleston Square, Rolleston outside BNZ / Robert Harris.
Focus for Future
We sponsor this valuable event that run every second year. The challenge is to make a film under 5 mins in duration, Primarily the entrants are young adults and children, they can use any style of film they choose and it must carry an environmental message.
There are then screenings and an awards ceremony with prizes over various categories.

🎨 Waste Art Competition - Calling Selwyn's Young Artists! 🎨
Are you in Year 7-13 and attend school, or are home schooled in Selwyn? Every alternate September, unleash your creativity and make a difference!
This competition challenges you to transform "rubbish" into art. Create a piece of art using materials that would have otherwise gone to landfill and help us all reconsider our views on waste and reusing!
Every entrant receives a prize, with special awards for age category winners and an overall prize!
Your work will be showcased at a public exhibition at Te Ara Atea in Rolleston!
